The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 26th that actress Go Yoon-jung has donated 50 million won for the recovery from wildfire damage in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan.
Go Yoon-jung's agency stated, "Upon hearing the news that the wildfire damage is continuing to spread, Go Yoon-jung wanted to provide some support to those affected. She sincerely hopes that those who are suffering can return to a warm home as soon as possible, and that the wildfire is completely extinguished. She expresses her deep condolences and gratitude to the residents of the affected areas and the dedicated firefighters."
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, said, "Go Yoon-jung's donation will be a great comfort and strength not only to the affected residents but also to everyone who is dedicated on the ground," and added, "Hope Bridge will continue to provide careful and prompt support so that the daily lives of our affected neighbors can be restored as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge is providing relief supplies totaling 200,000 items, including relief kits, partitioning for shelters, blankets, daily necessities, bottled water, and food to the wildfire-affected areas, and is continuing on-site relief activities, including laundry services at shelters.
