The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 25th that singer Lee Chan-won has donated 100 million won to support wildfire victims in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.
The agency stated, “Lee Chan-won decided to donate after seeing reports related to the wildfire damage,” adding, “Especially since the damage occurred in Uljin, his birthplace, he felt a deeper concern and hopes that everyone can safely return to their daily lives and welcome a warm spring.”
Lee Chan-won had previously donated 100 million won through Hope Bridge during the flooding caused by heavy rains in 2023. He has consistently practiced sharing during national disaster situations, continuing to exert a genuine positive influence.
Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude, stating, “We deeply appreciate Lee Chan-won’s warm generosity,” and added, “I hope his valuable sharing for his neighbors moves many hearts and leads to further acts of sharing.”
