Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk has stepped up to help neighbors affected by a large forest fire.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 24th that broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk has donated 50 million won to the areas affected by the forest fire in Gyeongsang Province.
Yoo Jae-suk is a prominent entertainer known for his consistent donations during various disaster situations, including floods, earthquakes, and infectious diseases, spreading a positive influence. His total donations to Hope Bridge have reached 1.05 billion won.
A representative from his agency stated, “Mr. Yoo Jae-suk decided to donate after hearing about the fire damage, hoping to provide some help to the affected residents. We hope those suffering from this sudden disaster can quickly return to their daily lives.”
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, expressed, “We sincerely thank Yoo Jae-suk for his deep compassion,” and added, “Hope Bridge will continue to provide swift and careful support so that the affected neighbors can return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”
