The global metaverse platform The Sandbox has signed a partnership with KQ Entertainment, a leading entertainment company in South Korea.
Through this partnership, The Sandbox will create new experiential content based on the worldview and music of the K-pop boy group ATEEZ, which is under KQ Entertainment, and will soon release a limited edition avatar collection that captures the characteristics of each member. Additionally, various collaborative content for ATEEZ fans will also be introduced.
ATEEZ is an 8-member boy group under KQ Entertainment that debuted on October 24, 2018. They have gained love from global fans with their intense performances and unique music style, and they dominated the world's major music charts with their mini album 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2' released last November.

They achieved their second number one on the main chart 'Billboard 200' in the United States, breaking the record for the highest album sales in the first week of release. Furthermore, they ranked in the 'TOP 5' of the main chart 'Official Albums Chart' in the UK three times within a year, showcasing their worldwide popularity. Since their debut, they have established themselves as one of the representative groups of K-pop through steady growth, overseas tours, and music chart achievements.
The Sandbox Korea stated, "We are delighted to collaborate with ATEEZ, a leading K-pop group that has gained immense popularity worldwide," and added, "We plan to conduct various collaborations that will allow fans to experience the worldview, music, and artists of KQ Entertainment and ATEEZ in new forms within The Sandbox."
