The actors of ‘Undercover High School’ shared their personal viewing points ahead of the first broadcast.
Scheduled to premiere on the 21st (Friday) at 9:50 PM, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Undercover High School’ tells the story of a National Intelligence Service agent who disguises himself as a high school student to track down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold bars.
Seo Kang-joon, who plays Jung Hae-sung, an agent on a special mission to find the missing gold bars, said, “I hope you will watch to see what events unfold as Hae-sung, a National Intelligence Service agent, infiltrates high school. I think it would be great to pay attention to the growth point of moving from ‘alone’ to ‘together’.”

Additionally, Seo Kang-joon described ‘Undercover High School’ as a ‘comprehensive gift set’, saying, “You can see various genres like comedy, crime, and human stories all in one work,” and added, “I hope it becomes a gift-like work for the viewers.”
Jin Ki-joo, who plays Oh Soo-ah, a temporary teacher at Byeongmun High School, said, “I’m looking forward to the action of Seo Kang-joon, who is a National Intelligence Service agent. If you pay attention to this, you will enjoy it even more thrillingly and interestingly.” She described the work as a ‘genre buffet’ and added, “Please look forward to ‘Undercover High School’, which will make you laugh, be impressed, have your heart flutter, be surprised, and feel chills.”
Meanwhile, Kim Shin-rok plays Seo Myung-joo, the chairperson of the Byeongmun Foundation and Byeongmun High School. He described ‘Undercover High School’ as ‘ice cream with various flavors’, saying, “Just like various flavored ice creams are packed in one container, this work contains various genres and fun elements. You can enjoy the diverse elements of the drama as if you are taking turns eating your favorite flavored ice cream with a spoon,” heightening expectations for the work.
‘Undercover High School’ is set to lead the dramatic developments with Seo Kang-joon, Jin Ki-joo, and Kim Shin-rok at its core. In addition to the colorful acting transformations of the three, the stories of students unfolding within the National Intelligence Service team and the school are also expected to be exciting.
