Actor Shin Jae-hwi has left a strong impression in 'The Black Nuns' as the disciple Aedong, firmly establishing himself as a promising candidate for 2025.
The film 'The Black Nuns', which was released on the 24th, has topped the box office for three consecutive days since its release, recording a cumulative audience of 606,155 (as of January 26, according to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network), continuing its box office success. Among them, newcomer Shin Jae-hwi has captivated audiences with a strong impression as Aedong, the disciple of Hyo-won (played by Kim Guk-hee).
Shin Jae-hwi appears as Aedong, the disciple of Hyo-won, a close friend of Unia (played by Song Hye-kyo), adding tension to the film and acting as a scene-stealer. In particular, he plays a character who becomes emotionally attached to his peer Hee-jun (played by Moon Woo-jin), who seems possessed by an evil spirit, capturing the audience's attention with his delicate expressiveness.

As a scene-stealer in 'The Black Nuns', Shin Jae-hwi has gradually built his filmography by appearing in various works. He debuted in the web drama '3:00 AM 2' in 2017 and made a mark on viewers by playing the role of the school bully Park Chang-hoon in the Netflix series 'All of Us Are Dead'. He then left an impact with a completely different performance as the court officer Seo Beom in 'Boys Judgment'.
He later took on the role of Bang Gi-soo, who opposes class president Kang Hoon (played by Kim Do-hoon), in the hit Disney+ original series 'Moving', convincingly portraying the character's variations and helping to immerse viewers. Shin Jae-hwi, who is actively working across both OTT platforms and the big screen with his unique mask and acting skills, has once again proven his acting ability through 'The Black Nuns', raising even more expectations for his future endeavors.
Meanwhile, the film 'The Black Nuns', featuring Shin Jae-hwi, is currently being screened in theaters nationwide.
