A 16-year-old who wants to shake off her father seeks help from 'Ask Anything'.

In the 300th episode of KBS JOY's 'Ask Anything', airing on the 20th, a teenager who doesn't know how to shake off her father, who has served a year in prison for domestic violence and child abuse, comes to seek advice.

The story begins with the participant, who was raised by others while her parents were busy with work, stating that she started living with her parents from the 6th grade but went through difficult times due to domestic violence.

Her mother, who was often assaulted by her father, including being grabbed by the hair and having cigarette butts thrown at her, was afraid to report the abuse even when she needed to go to the hospital due to retaliation. One day, she had to call an ambulance and underwent emergency surgery for a burst appendix.

However, the father's violence continued, and the mother sent an SOS to the participant while she was at school, leading them to gather at the police station. Although the mother tried to cover up the facts as usual, the police, noticing the participant's anxiety, urged her to tell the truth for her daughter's sake, prompting her to reveal everything.

Evidence of the violence that had been inflicted on the mother was discovered, and the father received a one-year prison sentence for having a knife in the car he shared with her.

Although they were separated, the mother still couldn't live properly due to her anxiety, but the participant expressed concern for her father, saying, “I feel sorry for him,” which led Lee Soo-geun and Lee Kyung-kyu to unanimously state, “This is wrong.”

Lee Soo-geun further emphasized that it is “not being kind, but rather foolish” upon learning that the participant had informed her father of her whereabouts.

Lee Kyung-kyu also advised, “Continuing a relationship just because of blood ties is not acceptable,” adding, “If you don’t cut ties once, misfortune will follow you for a lifetime.”

Additionally, the 300th episode of 'Ask Anything' will feature the story of Lee Yoon-seok, who came to talk about becoming an attachment doll for his boss, along with divorce attorney Lee In-cheol. It will air on January 20 at 8:30 PM.
