Actor Lee Chae-min will join 'The Tyrant's Chef' in place of Park Sung-hoon, who has stepped down.
On the 13th, a representative from Lee Chae-min's agency, Golden Medalist, and a tvN representative told MK Sports, “Lee Chae-min is under positive consideration for appearing in 'The Tyrant's Chef'.”
The new tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' tells the story of a chef who time slips back to the past at the moment he reaches the top, where he is evaluated as the worst tyrant but meets the king, who is also the greatest gourmet.

Initially, actor Park Sung-hoon was cast as the male lead, but he recently caused controversy by mistakenly posting and then deleting a parody AV cover of the Netflix series 'Squid Game' on his SNS story.
This controversy led to the actor's departure. The production team of 'The Tyrant's Chef' stated on the 11th, “After much discussion between the production team and Park Sung-hoon's side, we have decided that it would be difficult to work together on this project. Both the actor and the agency have expressed their apologies several times regarding the recent events, and we have been closely discussing various situations. After discussions, the production team and actor Park Sung-hoon decided to continue on their respective paths.”
Meanwhile, Lee Chae-min, who gained recognition for his appearance in the Netflix series 'Hiaraki' last year, has also confirmed his participation in MBC's 'Bunny and Oppas'.
