Seungri (Lee Seung-hyun), formerly of Big Bang, has been spotted after his release.
Recently, a video capturing Seungri's current status has been posted on various online communities and social media, drawing attention. The video shows Seungri attending a recent event overseas.
Wearing horn-rimmed glasses and a suit, Seungri was seen engaging with attendees at the event, and it is noticeable that he has gained weight compared to his days with Big Bang.
Outside the venue, Seungri was seen preparing to get into a vehicle while being escorted by locals, and the person who posted the video added, "He earns more (money) than G-Dragon," sparking debate.
Seungri caused a major scandal when he was identified as a key figure in the 'Burning Sun Gate' incident surrounding the Burning Sun club in Gangnam, Seoul, in 2019.
In May 2022, the Supreme Court's 1st Division (Chief Justice Noh Tae-ak) confirmed the original sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison for Seungri, who was indicted on charges of habitual gambling, violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act, and violations related to prostitution (including prostitution and prostitution mediation, and filming using cameras).
Amid the controversy, Seungri, who left Big Bang, was once again at the center of controversy when he was spotted hosting an event in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He was criticized for saying, "I will bring G-Dragon here someday," and for singing and dancing to Big Bang's GD & Taeyang's unit single 'Good Boy.'
