The sad news of the passing of weathercaster the late Oh Yoanna has been revealed belatedly.
According to the broadcasting industry, Oh Yoanna, who was active as an MBC weathercaster, passed away last September at the age of 28. The exact time and cause of death have not been disclosed.
Born in 1996, the late Oh Yoanna joined MBC after passing the public recruitment for weathercasters in May 2021 and had been active as a 'weather fairy.'
She appeared on the tvN entertainment show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ aired in November 2022, sharing various stories and drawing attention.
After the broadcast, she expressed her feelings on SNS, saying, “It was such a great honor to be able to introduce the profession of a weathercaster. It is a more precious memory for me because I am lacking. I am truly grateful to the production team and my seniors. I will learn more humbly and do my best. I look forward to next year as well.”
