Actress Lee Young-ae has revealed that her daughter "likes idols and goes to auditions," causing a stir.
On the 8th, Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, and Park Yong-woo, the main characters of 'Eunsu's Good Day,' appeared on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yeob.'
When the topic of her children came up, Lee Young-ae said, "My son and daughter are different," adding, "My daughter is more like me, and my son is more like his dad."
She coolly stated, "Our daughter is very interested in idols and goes to auditions. I just let her be. If I stop her later, she says, 'I couldn't do it because of mom,' which surprised everyone."
In response to Shin Dong-yeob's comment about whether this was influenced by her being a famous 'ARMY' (BTS fandom), she actively agreed, saying, "My daughter also likes 'TXT (Tomorrow X Together)' and 'Boys Next Door.' I took her to see them."
She also expressed her concerns, saying, "On one hand, I worry. I think she takes it too lightly. When she looks at me, she only sees the good things. She might not see the struggles I went through to get here and only sees the glamorous side."
Lee Young-ae married Korean-American businessman Jeong Ho-young in 2009 and welcomed twins, Seung-kwon and Seung-bin, in 2011. She first publicly introduced her twins in the 2014 SBS special 'Lee Young-ae's Banquet,' where 4-year-old Seung-bin drew attention with her distinct features.
Recently, Seung-bin entered Sunhwa Arts Middle School, majoring in vocal music. During her appearance on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' in 2023, Lee Young-ae revealed in response to the question of which of her twins has more celebrity potential, "It's my daughter. She loves taking pictures," adding, "She said she wants to be an actress. She also loves singing and wants to do it. She got into the vocal music department at the arts middle school."
