Shin Dong-wook, Chief Spokesperson of the People Power Party, and Yoon Hee-seok, former Senior Spokesperson of the People Power Party, will make their first appearance on 'Special Sseoljeon.'

In the JTBC 'Special Sseoljeon' airing tonight (19th), the new conservative panelist Shin Dong-wook will join former Chief of Staff Lee Cheol-hee to share insights. In the following 'Night of the Ruling and Opposition Parties' segment, Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Han-kyu, former Senior Spokesperson Yoon Hee-seok, Justice Party lawmaker Shin Jang-sik, and Reform Party lawmaker Cheon Ha-ram will engage in a heated debate on the most pressing issues of the current situation.

Shin Dong-wook, the newly joined Chief Spokesperson of the People Power Party, expressed his respect for former Chief Lee Cheol-hee before the start, stating that he would have been very distressed if he were still in the National Assembly, raising curiosity about his reasons for joining the show.

He also revealed the behind-the-scenes story regarding the recent verbal slip of 'former President Yoon Seok-yeol.' Shin Dong-wook explained, “At that time (just after meeting former President Park Geun-hye), the scene was noisy, and I had to brief quickly due to the train schedule. I kept saying former President Park Geun-hye, and that’s what happened,” adding, “I thought it was a big deal and corrected it immediately,” sharing the urgency of the situation.

Meanwhile, the two will continue their discussion on the election law amendment to reduce the early voting days to one. Shin Dong-wook, who proposed the amendment, stated, “I fundamentally believe that early voting should be eliminated, but since we cannot eliminate it for those who are unavoidable, we should reduce the early voting days to one and extend the voting hours.” Former Chief Lee Cheol-hee countered, “The most important principle is to expand convenience from the perspective of voters, so we should increase voting opportunities,” maintaining a strong stance.

In the special 'Night of the Ruling and Opposition Parties' segment, Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Han-kyu, former Senior Spokesperson Yoon Hee-seok, Justice Party lawmaker Shin Jang-sik, and Reform Party lawmaker Cheon Ha-ram will participate. Notably, despite being his first appearance, former Senior Spokesperson Yoon Hee-seok reportedly engaged in sharp exchanges with lawmakers Kim Han-kyu, Shin Jang-sik, and Cheon Ha-ram.

As the ruling on President Yoon's impeachment is delayed more than expected, the Democratic Party is conducting foot marches and one-person picket protests, while the Justice Party is performing a three-step bow from Gwanghwamun to the Constitutional Court, urging the impeachment of President Yoon.

In response, lawmaker Cheon Ha-ram stated, “The Reform Party believes that such actions should not be taken. Members of the National Assembly receive salaries to work in the National Assembly,” criticizing, “Such actions waste taxpayer money and are a malicious political show that drains the staff,” and added, “The Reform Party has started preparing for an early presidential election with a clearer political message that impeachment should happen sooner.”

Lawmaker Shin Jang-sik sharply countered, “The public calls such actions ‘free riders’ and ‘cherry pickers.’” Lawmaker Kim Han-kyu expressed, “As a legal professional, I sometimes feel that such actions have nothing to do with the trial, but just walking together with people who share the same beliefs, shouting together, gives me a sense of courage and strength,” expressing his hope for a quick decision from the Constitutional Court.
