The reality relatable drama “Riding Life” has confirmed its release date for March 3.
The Genie TV original drama “Riding Life” will be released on March 3 at 10 PM through Genie TV and ENA. “Riding Life” (written by Seong Yoon-ah and Jo Won-dong, directed by Kim Cheol-kyu) depicts the life of three generations of mothers and daughters in Daechi-dong, focusing on the passionate working mom Jeong-eun, who entrusts her daughter’s “7-year-old exam” riding to her mother, Jia. The “7-year-old exam” is a neologism referring to the entrance test for sending children to a famous English academy. The drama humorously and realistically portrays the fierce competition among mothers in the private education scene for young children.
The released character posters capture the diverse perspectives and thoughts of the three generations of mothers and daughters who have entered the Daechi-dong life, piquing interest. The passionate working mom Lee Jeong-eun (played by Jeon Hye-jin), who doesn’t want to miss out on work or her daughter’s education, and Yoon Jia (played by Jo Min-soo), who starts riding for her granddaughter at the request of her daughter Jeong-eun, along with the lovely granddaughter Hong Seo-yoon (played by Kim Sa-rang), express their inner feelings through lively emojis, drawing attention.
Jeon Hye-jin portrays the busy working mom who rushes to childcare right after leaving the office. Jeong-eun is seen running without even taking off her employee ID. The caption “Mom will be there soon, wait for me” raises curiosity about Jeong-eun’s hectic working mom life and the story behind her passion for education.
Jo Min-soo’s surprised expression with the caption “Isn’t every mom the same?” hints at the mother-daughter conflict. Jia, holding her granddaughter’s hand, enters the world of riding and encounters a completely different world from when she raised her daughter Jeong-eun, prompting her to reflect on her relationship with her daughter.
