Actor Jeon Bae-soo continues his active career by joining 'Undercover High School.'
The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (written by Lim Young-bin, directed by Choi Jeong-in), which will premiere in February, tells the story of a National Intelligence Service agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold bars.
In the drama, Jeon Bae-soo plays Ahn Seok-ho, the team leader of the NIS Domestic Team 4. He is humble, down-to-earth, and has a wide range of interests, making him an indispensable ally to Jeong Hae-sung (played by Seo Kang-joon), while also harboring a significant secret. Seok-ho suddenly finds himself taking care of a younger Hae-sung in place of a senior who has gone missing.
Moreover, Seok-ho is expected to face a series of unexpected situations during the execution of operations, providing shocks and twists. Additionally, Jeon Bae-soo, who will portray a dramatic twist in the story, will clash with the NIS agent Jeong Hae-sung (played by Seo Kang-joon), raising anticipation for how their paths will intertwine and showcasing his perfect chemistry with Seo Kang-joon.
Jeon Bae-soo has captivated audiences with his diverse roles in dramas such as 'Face Me,' 'My Harry,' 'Queen of Tears,' 'Sacred Divorce,' 'Morning Comes to the Psychiatric Ward,' and 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo,' as well as in films like 'The Land of Happiness,' 'Jeon, Ran,' and 'Confidential Assignment 2: International.'
'Undercover High School' is a collaboration between writer Lim Young-bin, who has been recognized for his solid writing skills through 'Sketch' and 'The Great Show,' and director Choi Jeong-in, who garnered a strong response from viewers with 'Crazy Love' and 'Flowers Bloom at Night.'
